ASSEMBLY
Install the handle support (item 1) by unscrewing the two
bolts in place (if installed) and secure with two 1/2 x 1
1/4’’ hex bolts (item 2) and nylon insert locknuts (item 3).
Tighten firmly.
Install the plastic grommet (item 4) in the handle support
(item 1).
VERY
IMPORTANT, BE CAREFUL NOT TO LET
ANY DIRT GET INTO THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM.
Unscrew the hoses (item 1) from the adaptors (item 2)
and reinstall the hoses on the right side of the frame as
shown by taking care to turn the adaptors in order for
the hoses to be as straight as possible.
Unscrew the quick coupler male (item 3) and screw the
two 90° adaptors (item 4) into the quick coupler male,
making sure to install the dust caps (item 5). Add some
Teflon sealant on the threads. Screw the 90° adaptors
(item 4) on the hoses.
Connect the hoses by following these steps: Thread the
hoses under the round tube of the front frame, on the
channel over the axle, and under the frame on the right
side. Connect the hoses to the quick couplers (item 6)
(top section) of the hydraulic valve. Tie the hoses to the
frame with a nylon tie wrap so that they do not touch the
tires.
NOTE: In order to make sure that the hoses are well
installed, pull the hydraulic lift arm towards you, the
attachment must lift at least 4’’ off the ground. If this
is not the case, reverse the hoses.
WARNING
TO PREVENT INJURIES AND FOR MORE
TRACTION WHEN USING THE ATTACHMENT:
-Rear counterweight of 150 lbs. minimum is
required to counterbalance attachment’s weight.
-Tractor manufacturer approved tire chains are
required.
-Do not operate on a slope greater than 10°.
